Hi guys, happy Thursday! I have such a refreshing and delicious recipe for you! Thse Dark Chocolate Mint Milkshakes are bursting with flavor and will cool you on a hot summer day. Just by looking at the vibrant green color I start day dreaming about pool days with one of these Mint Milkshakes in hand.
What is the thing on top of your list that you are looking forward this summer? Is it a tropical vacation, a camping trip or you are all abut hot pool days, good food and refreshing desserts? I personally wait for summer all year long so I can have ice cream and not feel cold. My favorite ice cream flavor is hands down Chocolate Mint. Lately I have been snacking on these beauties from Weight Watchers: Dark Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Bars that have only 60 calories per bar. I am so happy that my local Shoprite carries them.
Now, since I love these bars so much I decided to make a Mint Milkshake with them, and what is better than a Mint Milkshake topped with Dark Chocolate Mint Ice Cream! I know! Ice cream dreams do come true!
These Mint Milkshakes are made with Weight Watchers Dark Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Bars, fresh mint leaves, a drizzle of maple syrup, vanilla almond milk and coconut water! They are amazing by the pool, imagine sipping on one! Beautiful mint flavor, combined with dark chocolate is the flavor combo I am looking forward all summer long!
The ice cream bars are absolutely delicious, a better choice than full fat ice cream, I know I will always have some on hand this summer. They combine my favorite flavor combo, I love how refreshing they taste!
- 4 Weight Watchers Dark Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Bars
- 1 cup vanilla almond milk or coconut milk
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 cup coconut water
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 Weight Watchers Dark Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Bars
- Fresh mint leaves
- Add al the milkshake ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth and fully combined. Taste and adjust sweetness level by adding more maple syrup.
- Garnish with Dark Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Bars, fresh mint leaves and serve.
